FILIP SEBO signed for Rangers after a prolonged, drawn-out chase at the start of August 2006.

Austria Vienna had been keen to hang on to their star striker but Sebo was keen to join Paul Le Guen's Ibrox revolution and a transfer was eventually concluded.

The 22 year-old started his career with German side Cologne but was released in 2003 without having made a first-team appearance and signed for Inter Bratislava in his native Slovakia.

He moved on from there to neighbours Artmedia for whom he scored 22 goals in 33 games in season 2004/05.

That alerted several clubs and the striker was transferred to Vienna for around £400,000 in the summer of 2005.

He played 32 times scoring five goals for the Austrian side in season 2005/06 helping them to a league and cup double before completing what he called a "dream move" to Rangers.
","A16D5E6475634BB1C2248B183B7E41495B218039EB2EF0A3":"0","A7F9B63E25A659E5":"Filip Sebo","4678B5349347B7EB":"82kg
;
