There was a time when players such as Christian Träsch carried the nickname 'Horse-Lungs'. There is hardly another player in the Bundesliga who regularly covers as much ground as the former VfB Stuttgart player.

His immense physical fitness is one of his major characteristics, and his flexibility is a further characteristic which would please any trainer. Whether on the right or central, attacking or in the defence, Christian Träsch can track his man in almost any position on the pitch.

Club career
He had his professional debut on 3 February 2008 against Schalke 04. Träsch scored his first goal for VfB Stuttgart on 5 October 2008 against Werder Bremen. The goal was a volley, 25 meters from goal.

On 21 January 2009 he extended his contract at VfB Stuttgart until the summer of 2012. On 25 July 2011 Träsch moved to VfL Wolfsburg.

International career
Träsch was nominated on 19 May 2009 to the senior Germany squad for a tour of Asia. He made his debut on this tour in a match against United Arab Emirates on 2 June. He was substituted on in the 79th minute for Andreas Hinkel.
","26A41B77C025E2F442D11C4E5D31FCE8":"2","70356B8F0C59F6B5":"3098","6438FCEB8DF4FD6202A461D3835934E5":"Wolfsburg AM.,Wolfsburg,VfB Stuttgart,Munchen 1860,FC Ingolstadt 04","76E5DE99890AB189":"180cm","F9622CC2808B37CB":"75kg","95081CC600C137A3ECD07E1A2BAC6047":"28","31E4B7E841B17C66":"Christian Trasch","C9B224F2C5B356EF":"FC Ingolstadt 04","B628C0FB460378A51A233D645651DF2F":"","1E9A8D352C52FB60DE0D25B327F8FD01":"2017-8-30","E40B4988E6F21D3C":"57012
;
