Jeffrey Patrick "Jeff" Hendrick is an Irish footballer who plays as a midfielder for Football League Championship club Derby County and the Republic of Ireland national football team.

Hendrick made his international debut against Poland, at the Aviva Stadium, on 6 February 2013, providing an assist to Wes Hoolahan for the second goal of a 2–0 win. Born in Dublin, Hendrick has represented the Republic of Ireland at Under 15, 16 17 and 19 level. He was shortlisted for the Republic of Ireland Under-17 level International Player of the Year award in July 2010. He played a key role in the U-19s successful 2011 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship qualifying campaign putting in a "string of impressive displays" as he featured in all three group games and notched the only goal of the game in a 1–0 win over Poland U-19s. In July 2011, Hendrick was named in the squad for the tournament. He started in all 3 of Ireland's games in the tournament as they were knocked out in the semi-final stage to Spain.

Upon his return from the tournament, Hendrick was called up to the Irish under 21 squad for the first time. He made his debut in a victory against Turkey under 21s on 9 August 2011.

In January 2013, it was reported the Ireland head coach Giovanni Trappatoni was watching Hendrick with the view of giving the his first call up into the senior side. and later in the month Hendrick was called up to the senior squad to play in a friendly against Poland on 6 February. Hendrick came on as a 71st-minute substitute in the 2–0 win for James McCarthy and provided an assist for Ireland's second goal by Wes Hoolahan in this game, showing fantastic composure in doing so with a perfectly-weighted pass. Hendrick received his first Ireland start in his fourth cap, in a game against World and European Champions Spain on 11 June at the Yankee Stadium, New York City. He played a starring role in the European 2016 Championship qualifiers against Georgia in the Aviva Stadium, Dublin on the 7th September 2015. His sublime mazy run, including a wonderful nutmeg, set up an easy finish for Johnny Walters which proved to be the only goal of the game.
