Mohamadou Idrissou is the kind of substitute that every coach dreams of having on their bench. Although he generally only plays for brief stretches, the imposing striker, who stands 1.90 metres tall and weighs in at 80 kg, already has nearly ten goals to his name for the national side, a record that has booked him a berth with Cameroon for almost every tournament they have played over the past seven years.

With appearances at the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2003 and the CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2004, 2008 and 2010, the only gap in the Fribourg forward’s record is the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations. Although the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™ will be his first taste of the world showpiece, Mohamadou also played in the FIFA World Youth Championship in 1999.

At club level, Mo has found a home for himself in Germany, playing for five different clubs in a professional career spanning ten years. With Freiburg, he won the second division title in 2009 and has scored over 70 goals in the top two tiers of German football.
","95081CC600C137A3ECD07E1A2BAC6047":"8","31E4B7E841B17C66":"Mohamadou Idrissou","DAF09C52CF6076BD5E585110E27D1A5D":"0","F9622CC2808B37CB":"83kg
;
