Profile<\/STRONG>

Daniel Gygax broke into the Switzerland squad just before UEFA EURO 2004™, where he participated in all three matches. A nifty right-winger, he can also operate in the 'hole' behind the strikers. He did not enjoy the best of 2007\/08 seasons in France, finishing bottom of the Ligue 1 table with FC Metz.

Started career with FC Zürich but made scant progress in first stint there; moved to second-tier FC Winterthur in 2000 and FC Aarau 12 months later.

Back at first club in 2002\/03, became regular in Zürich midfield, earning first international cap as a substitute v Greece on 31 March 2004.

Scored last-minute winner in 1-0 win over Liechtenstein just before UEFA EURO 2004™ – his first international goal.

Started both legs of 2006 FIFA World Cup qualifying play-off against Turkey but despite being handed prestigious No10 shirt at finals in Germany, made starting XI only once in four games – v Togo in Dortmund.

Has played in France since 2005\/06; appeared in UEFA Champions League with LOSC Lille Métropole (and scored in 3-1 win v AEK Athens FC) before moving on to Metz.

Gygax's passion for dance music stretches to the occasional nightshift as a club DJ.<\/P>","156AB99B762676230C18DFFD85A3FAED":"","55115EEDFFE75225FD0E1787F70FC7CB":"2015-7-9","826BE2C466376227EC096659909FEBC6":"FC Luzern,Nurnberg,Metz,Lille OSC,Aarau,Winterthur,Zurich","3316B2DB0B85B0BE":"Daniel Gygax","68B71F6A7FE5F18E":"75kg","32E266777F4D5C3EAAE5984CDAE82227":"Aarau","2E0C5ADB6636D43E":"179cm","e_index":4};
