Onyinye Wilfred Ndidi known as Wilfred Ndidi, is a Nigerian professional footballer who plays for Premier League club Leicester City and the Nigeria national team as a midfielder. He is known for his versatility and can play across the back line and in midfield.

Ndidi's physical attributes are fantastic for a player of his age. He can intercept or win a tackle at ease, and very rarely gets a foul given against him. His aerial threat from set pieces can also be vital when under pressure and when in the opposition's box. If Leicester supporters are expecting the same player as Kante to arrive then they're in for a bit of a shock. Kante often went unnoticed last season as he would glide across the pitch, but with Ndidi's size he can't have that approach. Attackers will fear playing against him as he makes sure the opposition knows he's there. You may see Ndidi put in a few strong tackles within the first 20 minutes of games just to show the opposition what they're up against.

Ndidi was part of the Nigerian youth setup during his time at Nathaniel Boys of Lagos. While playing the African U-17 Championship with Nigeria, he was excluded along with two other players from the competition as a precaution, following an MRI age test that suggested he was just slightly above the threshold. Notwithstanding, he joined up with his teammates in the U-20 team the following year, forming the bedrock of the midfield. He was called up to the Senior Nigeria national football team on October 8, 2015, making his debut in the friendly game against DR Congo, and playing again a few days later in the 3–0 win against Cameroon, when he replaced John Obi Mikel in the 63rd minute. He was selected by Nigeria for their 35-man provisional squad for the 2016 Summer Olympics.<\/P>","1E9A8D352C52FB60DE0D25B327F8FD01":"2017-1-3","DAF09C52CF6076BDF21F9C2EFDD9E43065C5B3AC13FF9DA2":"1","C9B224F2C5B356EF":"Leicester City","FD1933E1882D5E7A216F21827D2B22B4":"\u00a314.96 M","DF03820F537F8E7C95F8F8605BCB052C":"Nigeria","92D102DDE1327A88":"Onyinye Wilfred Ndidi","76E5DE99890AB189":"183cm","31E4B7E841B17C66":"Onyinye Wilfred Ndidi","B628C0FB460378A51A233D645651DF2F":"","033EA04110C4B96A":"1","e_index":7};
