Versatile, hard-working and resilient, Gaxa's impressive performances down the SuperSport United right flank were a key factor in their 2007\/08 South African PSL title success - a first for the club. He subsequently signed for United's big-spending cross-town rivals, Mamelodi Sundowns, who are based in Pretoria\/Tshwane.

Gaxa was part of the South African U-20 squad at the CAF African Youth Championships in Burkina Faso in 2003 and has also represented South Africa at U-17 and of course senior level.

The spry full-back has since become an integral part of the South African team and was one of the star players for the side at the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup - playing in all five of the side’s matches as they went on to finish fourth. While injuries have not done him too many favours this season, he is set to remain Parreira’s first choice right wing-back. Interestingly, Gaxa started out as a central defender only to make the transition to right-back three years ago. His biggest weapon is his agility and ability to push forward whenever needed, traits he has shown for Bafana Bafana since 2005 when he played with the side as guests at the CONCACAF Gold Cup. He featured just once in the qualifying campaign for Germany 2006 and did not play even though he made the squad for the CAF Africa Cup of Nations in 2006. Again, he only appeared twice more in South Africa’s abortive quest to qualify for the Cup of Nations in Angola earlier this year. After previously being linked with a potential move to Italy, Gaxa has been rumoured to be on the radar of some clubs in England.","86178E7285C328960D9569BD40C7D883":"1984-4-6","078F3C827B475FC4":"36903","F52748F924D1E675":"63kg","7F6018B84729B122B8EE7594158DA382":"Kaizer Chiefs FC,Lierse,Mamelodi Sundowns,Supersport United","A494ABC507986833":"Siboniso Pa Gaxa","7777CB48C34672EC8F83E174F0B7EFC7":"","3F6EEC72E60D52B53E2E6377341938DB":"2","8084EC95B881D770":"Bidvest Wits","2F200EF80307E2A90BE724565D2038D0":"2016-11-1","e_index":2};
