Martin Fenin made waves in the summer of 2007 when he starred for the Czech Republic in the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Canada, scoring three goals, including one in the final against winners Argentina. The 21-year-old has spent the last six months entertaining German Bundesliga crowds with Eintracht Frankfurt.

Joined FK Teplice at the age of six; made his 1. Liga debut ten years later.

Mostly a substitute in his first two seasons but broke through into starting XI in 2006\/07, scoring four league goals.

Feats in Canada earned him first senior call-up and debut against Austria in Vienna on 22 August 2007.

Started UEFA EURO 2008 qualifier away to San Marino (3-0); came on as late substitute in subsequent ties against Germany and Cyprus.

Seven goals for Teplice in first half of 2007\/08 season led to €3.5m transfer to Frankfurt.

Scored hat-trick on his Bundesliga debut – 3-0 at Hertha BSC Berlin – and one more in first home game v DSC Arminia Bielefeld (2-1).
