Giovanni De Biasi is an Italian and Albanian football coach and former player, who serves as head coach of Albania national team. He holds dual Italian and Albanian citizenship.

Gianni De Biasi started UEFA Euro 2016 qualifier with a 1–0 win over against group favorites Portugal. This victory was described as historic by Albanian and international medias. On 13 June 2015, Albania beat one-time World Champions France for the first time in history. July 2015, Albania had climbed 15 positions being ranked 36th place for the first time in history.
