Bosingwa will be the focus of attention for supporters of Chelsea FC during UEFA EURO 2008. The pacy 25-year-old right-back agreed a €20.5m transfer to the London club in May having just completed a hat-trick of Portuguese championship wins with FC Porto.

Joined reigning Portuguese champions Boavista FC from SC Freamunde in 2001; played UEFA Champions League and UEFA Cup football in two seasons at the Bessa Stadium before transfer to Porto.
