Hong Chul is a South Korean football player who plays for Daegu FC and the South Korea national team.

He joined Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma in 2010. In 2013, he moved to Suwon Samsung Bluewings and went on to earn over 100 apps. In 2017, he was loaned to Sangju Sangmu FC.

He received his first call-up by South Korea national football team in 2011.
