Son is known as a versatile attacker due to his ability to use both feet equally well, and his willingness to play numerous positions on the attacking half; although he often played the role of a second striker with Hamburg, he can also play as a winger, an attacking midfielder or even as a striker.
Son finished his development at Hamburger SV, where he made his debut in the German Bundesliga in 2010. In 2013, he moved to Bayer Leverkusen for a club record €10 million, and played for the club in the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Champions League. Two years later, he signed for Tottenham for £22 million, becoming the most expensive Asian player in history. While at Tottenham, he became the top Asian goalscorer in Premier League history.
A full international since 2010, Son has represented South Korea at the 2014 FIFA World Cup and the AFC Asian Cup in 2011 and 2015, helping them finish as runners-up in the latter.<\/P>","EABD711929A60B526AB9CD802EC5F0A7":"7","BDC97245F9A52F8B":"175","46F0C72A3415188A868170E78E72CF24":"45000000.00","D41F91B0720932DCFCEBDA572EB68D71":"1992-7-8","4039037DD85D60421E356E7B3EA31BE5":"Bayer 04 Leverkusen,FC Seoul,Hamburger SV,Hamburger(U19),Hamburger(U17),FC Seoul(U18)","60DC9D976694DF52":"1","797F91F0051E8E7502912D1DDA7DF5C1":"Republic of Korea","46F0C72A3415188ABA1E996C06156FBC05C24372D6636D63":"1","FAF88D97B63B269A":"183cm","e_index":9};
